To create a crafting table first all you have to do is collect some logs, and by hitting any nearby tree with an axe, you can easily collect logs. You can also use your hand to hit the tree but this process will be a little lengthy.
Now just put the collected logs inside of your crafting menu. After putting them in the crafting menu you will get planks from them. And by using planks you can easily craft sticks.
