In some simple words if I talk about how to make a barrel in Minecraft then first all you have to do is open the 3×3 crafting table.
After that, you have to put 3 planks each in the first and third columns. Now place oak slabs in the 1st and 2nd boxes of the second column. After doing these you will see that a barrel has been made, and appeared on the right side of the crafting table.
What is Barrel in Minecraft?
A barrel is another alternative item of Minecraft chest. However, unlike the chest, you will see that it doesn’t require air space above it to be opened.
You can obtain a barrel so easily by crafting or by going to any fisher cottage in villages. I already said How you can craft a barrel in Minecraft but if you still didn’t understand then stay tuned.
In a Minecraft fisher cottage, you can get Up to 3 barrels, so you can also try this.
Facts: A barrel can be moved so easily by using water flow, lava flow, and even by pistons. However these will not affect the barrel, so it’s a safe way to move the barrel.

To craft a barrel you will need two different items for two different versions. Yes, you heard right you will need 6 Wooden Planks, and 2 Wooden Slabs, if you are playing java edition. But in case if you are playing bedrock edition then you will need 6 sticks and 2 wooden Slabs.

Get Planks in Minecraft:
You can easily get planks from logs. All you have to do is go to any nearby tree and start hitting the tree block until you get logs from it.
Note: Use Axe for better result and save your time cause if you do with hand then it will take a lot of time.
Now all you have to do is put the log into the 2×2 crafting menu to get planks from the log.
How to craft wooden slabs
The simple and easiest way, if I say how to make wooden slabs then all you have to do is put 3 planks in the crafting table horizontally.
How to make sticks in Minecraft
To make sticks in Minecraft all you have to do is put two planks inside the crafting table vertically and after that, you will see that sticks have appeared on the right side of the crafting table.
How to make barrels in Minecraft (step by step)
First, all you have to do is open the crafting table. There you will see a 3×3 crafting grid just like the image I shared in the below image.

If you are using the java edition then you have to place 3 planks vertically in the 1st column and place 3 more planks in the 3rd column.
In case if you are using the bedrock version then you have to place 3 sticks vertically in the 1st column and place 3 more sticks in the 3rd column.
