Top 5 Best wireless gaming headset list in 2022

1. HyperX Cloud II Wireless headset

A very well-balanced wireless gaming headset

BRANDHyperX
SPECIFICATIONSDrivers: 53 mm neodymium     ||    Battery Life: 30 hours

Battery: 1 Lithium Polymer battery required. (included)

Color Combination: Black, Red

Connectivity: Wireless     ||    Weight: 10.6 ounces

Product Dimensions: 7.48 x 5.35 x 3.66 inches

Frequency response: 15–20,000 Hz

The HyperX Cloud 2/Cloud II is one of the most compatible gaming headsets that can be connected easily with any devices such as PCs, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch consoles. Though it’s a wireless headset, still you will observe a very low latency in the headsets.

Battery:

This headset also comes with 1 Lithium Polymer battery and can be used easily for up to 30 hours, So in short, you don’t have to worry about charging them very often. The decent up to 20 meters range is also one of the best things that impressed me.

Design:

The Cloud II’s look and feel are almost identical to its wired version, and along with the standard HyperX design, it comes with oval-shaped black plastic earcups that are attached to a padded headband with Y-shaped metal struts.

The earpads are the same soft memory foam covered in pleasantly supple faux leather, with similar padding to the underside of the headband. With clickable earcup stops, the headset provides a comfortable, snug fit.

On the edge of the right earcup, you will see a large volume wheel and with the help of this large volume wheel, you can easily set the correct volume without any mistake. Other essentials like a USB-C port for charging, a connector for detachable boom microphone, and a button for power and Bluetooth pairing port and buttons will also be found there.

Noise-cancelling:

The detachable noise-canceling mic is Discord and TeamSpeak certified. It also has an LED mute indicator so you can easily see when your mic is on.

However, for some users, this headset may not be satisfied enough who prefer a slightly bass-heavy sound profile just because they don’t have an EQ to help customize their sound. The provided software is also very basic and comes with having very less customization features.

So overall this is one of the best wireless gaming headsets that can make your gaming experience even better.

Available Color variants: White, Green, Classic Black, CourageJD, Six Siege

Connectivity: Wireless     ||    Weight: 11.4 ounces

Product Dimensions: 3.94 x 6.5 x 7.88 inches

Just like the Hyperx Cloud II, this Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is also one of the best wireless gaming headsets that are compatible with all kinds of devices such as PCs, PS4, and PS5 consoles. However, unlike the previous one, this gaming-oriented headset comes with lots of customization features, including a USB dongle and access to Razer Synapse software.

By using the software you can easily adjust their microphone and their sound profile so easily. These headsets are so comfortable that you can use this as long as you want, and the long battery life makes this even better.

Design and features:

The Blackshark V2 Pro looks and feels great compared to other gaming headsets that come in this range. If you ever used the Blackshark V2 then you will understand that the Blackshark V2 pro is exactly like that just without the wire.

You will also notice oblong matte black plastic earcups that are connected to the headband through Y-shaped struts. For your kind information let me tell you that these Y-shaped struts are made of stiff wire with cylindrical mounts that allow each cup to slide freely up and down to adjust the fit.

It has memory foam earpads that are wrapped in breathable fabric, and there’s also memory foam-covered padding on the underside of the headband, which is covered in faux leather. As a result, the headset is now very lightweight, and comfortable fit that’s easy to wear for long hours of gaming.

On the backside of the left earcup, you will see a prominent volume knob. You will also see the Razer logo on the back of the earcups, which has a glossy black texture instead of neon green. On the headset, you will see two 3.5mm headset cable jacks, and one of them is for the detachable boom microphone. You will also see a micro USB port for charging, a microphone mute button, and a power button.

Software:

The Razer Synapse software is amazing. It offers tons of customization features, including a 10-band EQ for your music or your microphone. You can also adjust the volume level, activate the voice gate for the microphone, and adjust the power-saving feature.

Unfortunately, they don’t have very consistent audio delivery, and they struggle to isolate against ambient noise.

Available Color variants: White

Frequency Response: 20 Hz – 20 kHz

Connectivity: Wireless     ||    Weight: 12.5 ounces

Product Dimensions: 7.76 x 6.89 x 3.58 inches

The SteelSeries Arctis 7 wireless headsets are one of the best gaming headphones that comes with long 25-hour battery life. These headsets have slightly thicker padding that can help you stay comfortable during long gaming sessions.

According to the user, the sound will be heard differently, which is also a very good feature that provides smooth hearing performance. As expected these headsets are also good and have high audio latency. However, if you are worried about the ski-band headband then you don’t have to worry because the ski-band headband is adjustable and with that, you can easily adjust it according to your needs.

Build quality:

The build quality of the SteelSeries arctic 7 is also very impressive. The sturdy metal headband is also very flexible which is likely one of the best plus points about this. It comes with a boom microphone and a retractable arm.

Due to the metal body, these headsets are good enough to survive a few drops or impacts without any damage. However, you still have to be a little careful because the backplates of the ear cups are its weakest point, and feel like they could come out if moved around or dropped too much.

Design

The Arctis 7 has one of the best classy-looking designs around this budget with a minimal and sophisticated style. On the headset, you will also see an adjustable headband which gives a better imaginary experience. The utilized Velcro straps are so flexible, that can contour perfectly around any head size.

The Arctis 7 has two classic color variants, one is Black and one is White. However, while using it or holding it in your hand you will feel that these headsets are on average slightly bigger than your average set of headphones.

On the right ear cup of the headset, you will see a power button and volume control for chats, and on the left ear cup, you will find a home to regular volume controls, a 3.5mm input to listen with a wire, and the charging port.

The left ear cup is home to regular volume controls, the charging port, and a 3.5mm input to listen with a wire.

Features and Software

The good thing about the software is, it is multi-functional and can be used to change and customize the whole headset features. With the help of SteelSeries Engine software, you can also create custom profiles for individual games and can also be tweaked EQ profiles so easily.

You can easily increase footstep noise in multiplayer titles by raising the high-mids, so the engine only allows a profile to be saved for it. You can also change the mic volume and turn the surround sound on or off.

Battery Life:

Like I said earlier, the battery life of this headset lasts for continuous usage of 25 hours, and that’s totally enough to last the most extreme of gaming sessions and also very good for an average of at least three days of use. These headsets can also be used on a charge or plugged in via the 3.5mm port.

4. Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless SE Gaming Headset

Best high end wireless gaming headset

View at Amazon

BRANDCorsair
SPECIFICATIONSDrivers: 50 mm drivers     ||    Battery Life: Up to 20hrs

Battery: 1 Lithium-ion battery required. (included)

Available Color variants: White, Carbon, Espresso, Gunmetal, Pearl.

Frequency range: 20Hz-40,000Hz

Connectivity: Wireless     ||    Weight: 35.2 ounces

Product Dimensions: 10.24 x 9.8 x 3.86 inches

The Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless SE is one of the best wireless gaming headsets having an understated and premium design. The good thing about it is, it’s not that flashy like many other gaming headsets. It also has RGB Corsair logos on each ear cup, and this really gives a futuristic feeling while wearing.

On the upside, their wireless latency is great with their included USB dongle, and they can also be wired by plugging in a PS4 or Xbox One’s controller. And as expected from corsair the microphone performance is very good, though transmitted speech may lack some detail.

Features:

The Virtuoso RGB Wireless headset can be run by the iCUE software, which gives users a fair number of customization options. You can even toggle between stereo and surround sound, toy around with mic levels by using the program. Not only this you can also tweak equalization options.

However, the only thing that disappointed me about this headset is the presets, yes the presets. No matter which preset I used, the headset still had that vocal-heavy sound.

If you are so strict about sound and hearing then you should choose others from the list instead of selecting this one because the sound profile was off in high frequencies when we tried it.

However, it is still one of the best wireless gaming headsets that Corsair has ever produced. Not only this my friends also told me that my sounds become even better than usual when I use this headset and its microphone.

Battery:

The Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless SE has an impressive battery performance. They even claim that the battery can easily last up to 20 hours on a single charge, which is absolutely true if you won’t forget to turn it off between sessions.

Otherwise, in just 3 hours the headset will be charged fully so it’s not like you will have to wear off this for a long time. Its impressive feature here is that it can be easily adapted to a standby timer that allows the user to set a timer to put the headset into sleep mode after a certain amount of inactivity.

______

However it may look like this is very well built but unfortunately, this headset needs a little more improvement because after long gaming marathons it can cause some fatigue. However, the only thing that disappointed me about this headset is the presets, yes the presets. No matter which preset I used, the headset still had that vocal-heavy sound.

5. Razer Kaira Pro Wireless Gaming Headset

Best wireless gaming headset for beginners

View at Amazon

BRANDRazer
SPECIFICATIONSDrivers: 50 mm drivers     ||    Battery Life: Up to 20hrs

Battery: 1 Lithium Polymer battery required. (included)

Color variants: White, Black, White+Black, Halo Infinite.

Connectivity: Wireless     ||    Weight: 12.9 ounces

Product Dimensions: 10.43 x 10.31 x 6.81 inches

The Razer Kaira Pro Wireless gaming headset is one of the best-designed wireless headsets, that made especially for Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X consoles. But don’t you worry because this headset is also very handy with PCs and other devices.

These headsets are not only well built but also very comfortable and have very little audio latency when connected to devices wirelessly. In the software, you will also see tons of configuration options, including a graphic EQ to fine-tune their boomy, some imbalanced default sound profiles, and a customizable RGB lighting scheme.

Design & Features:

Unfortunately, the hard-edged top band and the rotating forks are made of plastic but this made the headset more light than other headsets. ABut don’t feel bad that those are made of plastic because the durability of these plastics is so high and also well constructed.

On the headset, you’ll see a thin green leather rim at the base of the ear cup’s padding, and the padded center of the top band is coated in a green mesh. The inside of the headset mostly is made of hard plastic and bolted on with a thin sheet of etched aluminum to indicate the size of the adjustable band.

Interestingly the memory foam-padded band and ear cups are so comfortable because of Razer’s proprietary Flowknit mesh.

HyperClear Supercardioid Mic:

In this headset, you will get a detachable 9.9mm mic with a very sensitive low-frequency response in the microphone. It is also supported by mic monitoring and game/chat balance to ensure optimal levels.

PROS++ Powerful microphone performance and sound.

++ Bluetooth 5.0

CONSInternal mic isn’t great.

6. Corsair HS80 RGB Wireless Gaming Headset

Best wireless gaming headset

View at Amazon

BRANDCorsair
SPECIFICATIONSDrivers: 50 mm drivers     ||    Battery Life: Up to 20hrs

Battery: 1 Lithium Polymer battery required. (included)

Color variants: White, Carbon.

Connectivity: Wireless     ||    Weight: 12.9 ounces

Product Dimensions: 8.07 x 3.82 x 7.2 inches

Corsair HS80 RGB Wireless Gaming Headset is also one of the best wireless headsets that the company has ever made. Also as expected it comes with some of the best headset features available and executes them really well. Btw not to mention that in this microphone, you will see an outstanding performance and a completely new design that lets you wear them for ages without fatigue.

Design & Features:

Just like the other Corsair headsets, this Corsair HS80 RGB USB has a sturdy high-build quality.

The main components are a combination of thick plastic and machined aluminum, with squarish earcups that give it a special unique look that is more stable than the rounded versions of Corsair’s lower-end headsets.

In this headset, the Gamer components are absolutely incredible and the only RGB elements are here is to only light-up Corsa logo on each earcup and a red LED ring on the microphone which allows you to see if the mic is muted or not. Single RGBs may not make you the best in tournaments, but you can use the iCUE software to program effects that sync with multiple Corsair devices.

You can even create many different multicolor strobe effects, which will be started on your RGB mechanical keyboard and then finished on the headset, for instance.

Audio quality:

As I already said that the sound quality of HS80s is fantastic and comes with well-balanced bass. However, the sub-bass can be a little lacking sometimes and I also noticed some distortion at low volumes. This holds the HS80 back from true greatness but there’s an EQ in iCUE that you can play with to fine-tune the audio to your liking.

The HS80 can even surprise you with impressive 3D audio and accurate positioning. It’s even more beneficial for gamers who play games like first-person shooters or large open-world environments.

Battery:

After a single charge, this Corsair HS80 headset can provide you non-stop 20 hours of gaming experience. For me, this is a great deal because I don’t have to charge it every single day even after using it continuously for 10 hours straight.

And after turning off the RGB you will even be able to get a better battery experience than before.

View at Amazon

PROS++ Powerful microphone performance and sound.

++ Floating headband design

++ iCue software is easy to use

++ Excellent microphone

++ Comfortable earcups.

CONS It feels a little Bulky.

RGB is underwhelming

Mic isn’t detachable
