BRANDSennheiser
SPECIFICATIONSWearing style: Headband.

Color Combination: Black

Connectivity: Wired.

Product Dimensions: 9.64 x 7.36 x 3.3 inches.

Frequency response: 8 – 25000 Hz.

Weight: 20.48 ounces

The Sennheiser HD 280 Pro is one of the most decent critical listening headphones that provides not only good sound but also creates a smooth environment. It also comes with a durable build quality which will allow the user to use this headset for a long time.

As I said earlier these HD 280 Pro headsets have a good audio reproduction that packs a lot of basses. However, they are mostly made out of plastic and this may disappoint some of you. But there’s nothing to worry about cause they feel durable enough, and can handle multiple drops without damage.

Unfortunately, they’re rather tight on the head and make your ears very warm after a couple of hours of listening. They also won’t be the most versatile headphones to use outdoors.

In Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, The padding around the ear cup is fully covering the outside of the ear, which ensures better noise isolation, and a great seal for increased bass response. Incredibly there is little-to-no sound leakage, which allows you to listen to anything in confidence with the knowledge that others won’t be able to listen in.

Do comment what you are gonna listen to with these benefits 😉

BRANDHyperX
SPECIFICATIONSDrivers: 40mm     ||    Battery Life: 20 hrs

Color: Black

Connectivity: Wired/Wireless     ||   Battery: 1 Lithium Polymer battery required. (included)

Product Dimensions: 6.5 x 4.5 x 2.5 inches

Frequency response: 10Hz to 40,000Hz

Weight: 9.1 ounces

The HyperX Cloud Mix is one of my personal favorite gaming headsets that I had been using for years and incredibly it never disappointed me. As expected from it, this headset is very decent and particularly versatile since it supports Bluetooth as well.

With having a great audio reproduction, it literally took a good place in my gaming room. If you ever used HyperX Cloud Alpha and HyperX Cloud II then you won’t find anything new in design but for new users, this will be really interesting and standard. Also, they are way too comfortable for long gaming sessions.

As I already said that it also provides Bluetooth support, so you can easily unplug the mic and audio cable to use them wirelessly. However, this 3.5mm stereo headset has no built-in simulated surround, but still, this stereo headset is able to provide a strong sense of the directions from which different sounds came.

In the headset, you will see MicroUSB to USB 2.0 charging cable, and with a single charge, you can easily use this headset for up to 20 hours. Though the battery capacity always depends on your preferred volume levels.

Overall the HyperX Cloud Mix is a well-built headset that puts an attractive design, excellent sound quality, Bluetooth capabilities, and many more included.

BRANDAudio-Technica
SPECIFICATIONSDrivers: 53 mm

Color: Black

Connectivity: Wired     ||   Battery: 1 Lithium-ion batteries required.

Product Dimensions: 11 x 5 x 88 inches.

Frequency response: 5 Hz – 30,000 Hz

Weight: 20 ounces

The Audio-Technica ATH-AD700X is a low-budget gaming headset, that has the quality and an above-average sound for critical listening. They are incredibly comfortable and decently well built.

However these headphones are made of plastic, and as always for some users, it may feel a little uncomfortable but overall the built quality is pretty well and durable. However, the frequency response extends pretty low but the biggest shortcoming of these headphones is their bass. Yes, it has a clear, fast, and tight bass but the positives end there.

The ATH-AD700X has a unique headband that is not only comfortable, also exerts the right amount of pressure on your head. Though the headset size is a little bigger than usual but believes me they are not so heavy despite their size.

The ear cups are large and well-padded with a soft cushion that feels good on the skin but also makes the ear cup opening a little small for larger ears.

BRANDBeyerdynamic
SPECIFICATIONSConnector: 3m coiled cable with 3.5 mm stereo jack.

Color: Black.

Connectivity: Wired.

Product Dimensions: 7 x 4 x 8.5 inches.

Frequency response:

Weight: 10.2 ounces.

Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO is an awesome decent headset that will be perfect for those who have a small studio or wanna have something that can withstand bandmates.

The DT 770 is really one of the best headsets that provide a very well-balanced audio reproduction with a near-perfect mid-range. Because of its closed design, it has better bass than the spacious Soundstage of the DT 990 PRO or the DT 880.

This headset comes with velour padding, which is exactly the sort of thing that those with glasses prefer to leatherette earpads. It also comes with a special benefit of not trapping in heat as badly as other alternatives do.

Overall the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Studio is really good that offers excellent sound quality and a comfortable fit, which helps elevate it from other pro-level headphones.

5. Philips Fidelio X2HR gaming headset

Best Wired/wireless gaming headset

BRANDPhilips
SPECIFICATIONSDrivers: 50mm

Color: Black

Connectivity: Wireless     ||   Battery: 1 CR2 battery required.

Product Dimensions: 4.72 x 9.45 x 12.6 inches

Frequency response: 5 Hz – 40,000 Hz

Weight: 13.4 ounces.

The Philips Fidelio X2HR is an awesome pair of wired open-back headphones for especially long-time users. And as always their sound profile is very well-balanced, making them suitable for a wide range of genres.

It also comes with an automatic adjusting comfortable headband, that allows you to wear this for a long time (even for extended periods). However, this headset is still not entirely wholesome because this headset is not able to block out any background noise so you may listen to background noises sometimes.

The build quality of the Fidelio X2HR is really solid, even you can say that it feels more standard than its price and is superior to many of the competitors in this price range. The headband is made of steel tubes with real leather covering them. The only plastic is some on the earcups, and it feels very strong and smooth.

For your kind information let me tell you that the outer part of the earcup is made of aluminum. The headphones are self-adjusting to the size of your head with a thick and breathable mesh pad.

The earpads themselves are made of velour-covered memory foam. They are very thick and also quite deep. These earpads are also removable so if you want to replace them then you can do that so easily.

This is an upgrade from these headphones having glued-on ear cushions in earlier models. Thank goodness that’s out.
